This year, 360,000 iPhone photos will come together to form one iconic image that will last forever in the App Store, on the Internet, and on posters around the world.

How awesome does that sound? You get a app, snap a picture, and all of the pictures taken get used to make a giant mosaic based on one of the photos that a user took. Your photo could potentially be chosen for the mosaic and then people all around the world could have posters of the mosaic. I don’t know about you but I’m sold on the idea.

The only problem? They need to raise money to fund it. The good news is it’s not a ton of money and you can help fund them like I did. They’re raising money on Kickstarter. You can help fund them.

I will no longer be playing Draw Something due to OMGPOP’s CEO Dan Porter’s remarks regarding Shay Pierce. The only OMGPOP employee not to join Zynga after they bought out OMGPOP for $200+ million because he didn’t want to loose control of his game that he built in his own time and put in the app store. He has since deleted the comments.

So I won’t be playing or buying anymore games by OMGPOP or Zynga.

At 5PM EST yesterday afternoon Sea Shepherd Conservation Society founder Paul Watson announced via Twitter that Amazon’s Japanese site was selling Whale, Dolphin, and Porpoise products on their site. By 2AM EST Amazon had removed the products from their site after pressure from people via email, Facebook, and Twitter. Thank you Amazon for doing the right thing.

A lot of people are saying they will not be buying from Amazon anymore and that everyone should boycott them. My question is why? They removed the products. We got what we wanted. I don’t see any reason to boycott a company that does what their customers ask them to do when they’re selling something they shouldn’t be.

Most people are blaming Amazon for the Whale meat being on there. The problem is Amazon was not the one selling it. Third party sellers were using Amazon to sell their products. Just like they do with books, toys, games, electronics, etc. Saying that Amazon should have never sold it in the first place and that they new it was wrong is pretty rude. How many millions of products do you think they have listed on their website? How many of those do you think are from third party sellers? They do their best to make sure that no one sells anything they shouldn’t but I’m sure it’s hard to keep up with everything.

You don’t boycott something when you get your way. You thank them for making the change and move on to the next company that’s doing something wrong.

I will be buying from Amazon again.

I went through my Facebook Timeline last night and pulled out some of the best ones. Some of them are hilarious.

I don’t like having to post things like this but sometimes it is necessary. This is one of those times. I’m going to say this once and only once.

Yes I have a photo of a naked lady on my phone as my background. It is no one’s business but mine. I do not need people making comments about it. Yes she’s naked. It’s none of your business who she is. She’s someone I consider a friend and I don’t think she has a issue with me having the picture as my wallpaper I don’t need to hear people spouting off comments like “Who’s boobs are those?”, “Ooh I saw that!”, or “I see boobs in the window”. The answers to those comments are pretty obvious. The boobs belong to the lady in the picture. I don’t care that you saw it it’s my background, if I cared it wouldn’t be my background. Yes you see boobs in the window because you’re sitting in the back of the car behind me and I’m checking my phone at night.

I don’t make comments about your backgrounds. I’m not going around saying things like “What flower is that?!” or “OMG you have a picture of your kids as your background!”. Do you know why? Because I honestly don’t fucking care what other people have as their backgrounds. I have similar pictures as my laptop, desktop, and iPad backgrounds.

People just need to get over it. I’m 25 and I bought all of the devices. I think I can decide what I set as my background.

Another thing that kind of irked me regarding this is people trying to see what I’m doing on my phone. I’m pretty sure I don’t need people’s permission or approval to check my social networks, look at photos, text, or make calls. I’m not blind. I can see you trying to lean over and see what I’m doing.
